Family Photos {2010}

Blue Lily Photography took our family photos while we were in Utah. Wendy is darling and was so great working with Weston. I think she meowed like a cat 50 times to get Weston to smile. Love her and love how these pics turned out.

Alameda County Fair {2010}

I love the fair; I think it's one of my most favorite parts of summer. Last year we missed it because Weston was a newborn so this year we were excited to go with a 1 year old in tow.

Weston loves petting any animal that he can get his hands on.

There might have been a incident where the lamb almost got a green plastic snack.
Weston and Brayden's favorite part was banging on every animals cage.... over and over and over again.

We got the banging to temporarily stop when the snow cones entered the picture.

Jeremy, Michelle, and Brayden

I knew Cameron and I were a match made in heaven when he said while dating, "My future wife has to ride all the spinning rides at amusement parks." Works out perfectly for me... I'm a ride junkie! Especially rides from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch....
Weston didn't really know what to think about the spinning hot air balloons
but he seriously liked the swings because I think he cracked a smile at some point.
Cameron will do roller coasters so he took Weston on his first roller coaster. Success... our child is a ride junkie too.

Thanksgiving Point

I love Thanksgiving Point... it is so nice and CHEAP. I'm so used to every activity out here in Cali costing an arm and a leg so I about died when admission was $3.

My mom bought these little dog hats for the boys. Ruff. This picture is a miracle because little boys do not sit still.

As usual, Weston loves the animals wherever we go.

Grandma and her boys

Luke was a bit hesitant at first and then decided he loved riding the horse {which is included in admission by the way... what???}

Weston squirmed off the horse most of the ride because he was getting a case of the grumps. The reason?? Apparently his feet hurt from his too tight shoes. I won't go into the details how I discovered this. Poor, chubby little feet. :(

Classic

Weston loved playing with Luke, his cousin, while in Utah. One day we headed to Classic and that place is awesome. It was full of bouncers, balls, slides and everything and anything to climb up, in, and over.The kids had a blast and I did too, since I had to follow Weston everywhere. Tip.... don't wear white pants.

Yes, I really looked that greasy. I seriously was sweating like I had just ran a marathon.

I actually convinced my mom to go down the slide.... love it.

July 4th {2010}

My parents live 5 minutes from the mountains.... now you would think I grew up skiing. You have to be cold to ski so that was not my activity of choice. But we did grow up having cookouts in the canyons on the holidays. Skiing vs. cookouts... same thing, right? Anyway, we kicked off the 4th with breakfast in the canyon with my fam.

We all look very serious as I flip the pancakes.
My dad
Al with the newest Neidig, Millie. She is so cute and little!!

Weston's great grandpa, Leon Aiken.
Weston with Brock, his cousin. I starting babysitting Brock when he was Weston's age. Yes, I changed your diaper Brock.

During the day we went to the pool... which I quite enjoyed till I actually got into the pool. I knew the second I got in I would be attacked by my brother, Scott, spending most of my time under the water and trying to gasp for air. And yes, once I got in I was attacked and then coerced into chicken fights. Then I topped it all off by rupturing my ear drum. The good thing is that I'll never forget this July 4th.

That night we went crazy with the fireworks and did sparklers in the front yard with Em and Al. We are party animals...
