Our Graduate!

Wahoo!! Cameron graduated with his MBA from UC Davis. I'm not sure who is more excited.... me or him? When he told me he wanted to go to grad school I thought he was nuts. Then when he told me it would be on the weekends for 3 years I really thought he was nuts. It was a looooong 3 years but we made it and we're so excited to have him home on the weekends! I'm so proud of Cameron for sticking it out through kids, 2 job changes, living in Sacramento, working, life, etc. etc. It was a huge goal of his to get his MBA and I was so happy to see him accomplish it and to be there for his graduation. We love you Cam!

Cameron had to be at Davis 3 hours before graduation started so the boys and I chilled around Davis for a bit. I was pretty nervous about it but we ended up finding a cool breakfast place, farmers market, and an awesome park. I love Davis!

I think the ushers panicked with fear when they saw me with my newborn and toddler but there were no major incidents... thank goodness. Bless the ipad.

On-Call Doctor

I went to go make a bottle the other day and came back into the playroom to find Holden being seen by the doctor. Oh the relief to know I have an on-call doctor at the house.

Mickey Mouse Coma

I've figured out how to get Weston to take a picture with Holden. I wait till he is in a Mickey Mouse coma and then I plop Holden down on the couch right next to him. I swear to you he barely notices because apparently Mickey Mouse is like a drug. It's funny and strange all at the same time.

All In A Day's Work

1. Prepare for a ping pong tourney with necessary ankle bands.

2. Shoot everyone and everything with a bubble gun + blow dry mommy's hair + cut the lawn and bushes. Why blow bubbles with the bubble gun when it can do so many other cooler things?

3. Pull in the garbage cans and say "heavy" about 100 times while refusing all help.

Now if only he could cook dinner....

Holden: One Month

It only took one month for my boy to get some chub on his little cheeks. I love his chub, I love his cheeks, and I really love that he is sleeping 6 hours at night.

Memorial Day {2011}

So. Cal Rosenhans were in town for Memorial Day weekend and we had a blast. We got all adventurous and hit up parks and restaurants. Oh yeah, the boys golfed and we played lots of board games. We Rosenhans are crazy like that.

Father And Sons {2011}

Although Cameron and I both grew up camping... we are definitely not the camping type. So I literally about passed out when Cameron said he was taking Weston to our ward's father and sons. Turns out Cameron has been looking forward to this forever since Weston was born since he was able to only attend just a few with his own dad. I was excited for Weston to get to spend some 1:1 time with his dad and I got to have some alone time with Holden. Hello... sleep!!

The camp site was right on the beach in Half Moon Bay and Cameron said it was absolutely gorgeous.

Weston's favorite part was folding and unfolding everyones chairs. Why was I not surprised to hear that?

He watched all the older boys wash off their feet in the water spout so he didn't want to be left out. Only problem... he was wearing shoes. Sweet.

Apparently the food of choice is McDonald's and huge chocolate milkshakes. Nothing like fine dining!

He loved digging in the sand

but not the waves crashing towards him. I love father and sons as much as my boys do... except for cleaning up the sand soaked clothes and towels. Next year Holden is going and I'm home alone. Ya-hoo!!

Holden's Newborn Pictures

Nicole took some fun newborn pics of Holden and the fam. I found it kind of ironic for a child that sleeps all the time to sleep for about 5 minutes during a 3 hour photo session.Who needs sleepy newborn pics when you can have wide eyed ones instead?? Thanks Nicole!

A Few Things I've Learned...

1. It's impossible to take any type of decent picture with a toddler in it.

2. Candy will always be involved to get them to sit for a picture. You'll always remember that you bribed them to sit because they are eating the candy in EVERY picture.

3. Babies act they are starving at all moments... open mouths are the norm around here.

4. Toddlers should not be given cans of olives to eat out of. They will most likely turn the can into some type of game and severely cut their finger... which probably needs stitches.

5. Who needs stitches when you can create a giant bandaid with gauze and tape?

6. It stinks not to live around family.

7. It really stinks not to live around family when you have a baby. Thanks for coming to visit mom and for all the help!

Red Vs. Blue

I want to die over these itty bitty socks {gifted by my good friend}. I mostly think its funny how Cameron acts offended that I would even dare put red on my child's feet. Are we really pretending to be sports fanatics at the Rosenhan household?

Emily

I somehow convinced my sister to come out, after my mom left, to help me with the boys. Well, let's be honest... to help with Weston. I think the selling point was that she would get to lift a 30 pound toddler all day long. Yes, that was definitely the selling point. Weston still asks for Emmy everyday... we love and miss you Em!
