Easter {2013}

It's impossible to get the boys to sit and take pictures... but Cameron sure can make them laugh. I'll take what I can get. 

Disneyland {2013}

We wanted to do a Disney trip with the boys before the baby came... so we kind of pulled a trip together last minute and it was so, so fun. We went with my brother and his family and it made the trip. The cousins had so much at Disney and they loved hanging out at night in the condo. They spent lots and lots of time being cats and dogs at the condo and building forts with the couch cushions. We were in Newport Beach for a week and hit up Disneyland for three days. That was A LOT of Disney but a total blast. I went at the perfect time during pregnancy... big but not big enough to be miserable. I was small enough to sneak onto the new Cars ride and Space Mountain and big enough to have a few people say, "Take it easy mama," and "Get some water mama." Sigh.

Day Out With Thomas

Our Thomas ride started as an incentive for potty training. And then.... my potty training {more specifically the poop} ordeal began. What a nightmare. There are just too many horrid details to write about so let's just say we've backtracked a bit on the potty training and we still went to Thomas. Ahhh, parenthood. The location was absolutely gorgeous and the boys had a super great time riding the train. Holden loves to say "whoo-whooo" so we heard that about 1000 times that day. We ate lunch in Los Altos after and it was one of our first times walking around there. A-mazing. All in all, a super fun day. 

There were a ton of activities to participate but the boys were mainly fascinated with the legos. I think I'm entering the lego stage {cue tears for the massive lego mess and organization stress}.

Father's Day {2012}

Father's Day weekend I planned a little trip to Half Moon Bay to see the tide pools. Let's just say the tide pool thing didn't work out too well because I can't read the tide chart.... but we had fun regardless.  Mostly we just wanted to show our daddy how much we love him. The boys love when Cameron gets home from work and they run as fast as they can to play in Cameron's car. It's not Cameron's favorite thing in the world because he's been commuting for hours but the boys absolutely love it. They yell out the sunroof, blast the music, and push every button on the dash. He's a good daddy! :) 

Give the boys some rocks, sand, and water and they're happy campers. 

After about 5 minutes of family time Weston escaped us and trespassed past the "stop" sign. He reaaaalllly wanted to make a pizza in that one spot and there he remained. Three years old.... it's going to be rough. 

The rest of us watched the seals {who were so super close to us} and played in the sand.

Such a fun day celebrating the best daddy and hubby in the world. We love you Cameron!!  

Father and Sons {2012}

Father and sons.... the best weekend of the year for a mama! Weston was so excited to go camping where "no babies and no moms are allowed." Cameron is starting to take this whole camping experience seriously these days. This year he bought two sleeping bag. This is a big deal for us considering last year he bought flashlights. We're hardcore campers round here. The boys camp at Half Moon Bay and it is soooo super gorgeous. I always die when I see these pics come back.

He was so excited to set up the tent and he was running around a million miles a minute.

He loved his new sleeping bag....until 12:30 am. All good things must come to an end. Cameron sends me a pic of his sleeping bag all covered in vomit. Poor little babe and poor daddy I must say. Cameron put him in his bag and put Weston's bag outside the tent.... thinking it was just food poisoning? When round two happened a half hour later, in Cameron's sleeping bag, Cameron decided to call it a night. At 1 am he literally rolled everything up in the tent and shoved it in the back of the car at drove home. Awwww, what a priceless father and sons experience NEVER to be forgotten!

Date Nights

We've been trying to get babysitters a bit more these days.... sounds lame, like we've had to make an effort.... but it's true. It's been way fun and really good for us. We've been to a few concerts, the temple {thanks to a great babysitter we found}, movies, dinners, and on a few Target runs. Seriously, date nights are good for the soul.

Cameron's 31st

Cameron turned the big 31 yesterday. Now we're inching to 35 around here and it's getting a bit scary. Well, me more than him but let's not talk about that. Anyhow... we love our daddy around here and we hope he had super day. 

Weston picked out a present for him at the Dollar Tree. He wanted to give him everything so we narrowed it down to a jumprope and a green ball. He drew his own balloons on the the bag then we hid the present. We talked and talked about how it was a big secret and to not tell daddy {ha!} The day before his birthday he shows Cameron the hidden present and says, "Daddy's birthday, shhhh, secret." I think I laughed for about 5 minutes when I overheard Weston telling Cameron this. 

I made this cake and it was so freaking rich but so delish. You don't feel bad about eating it because you only eat about 3 bites and then you're done. Let's just say all my neighbors got pieces of cake today and I need some tips on spreading ganache on a cake. 

Cameron and I went to eat at Wente... our first time there and we loved it. 

Happy Birthday to the greatest hubs and dad! We love you!

3 Day Weekend

I declare that every week should have 3 day weekends. They might be the greatest thing ever. We did lots of relaxing, cooking, and Chuckie Cheesing. Yes, that's right.... we're a true American family now. We spent a few hours at Chuckie Cheese and I can't believe I'm saying this, but, it was FUN! 

Then Weston and I tried to convince Cameron to buy the sweetest and most cutest dog in the whole world. No dice. Weston and I are on a mission.... we'll convince the hubs one of these days.

And what would a weekend be without the park....
