Road Trip

Just got back from the beach... we road tripped it to Newport and spent a week with Cameron's brother and their friends. The beach was a blast, the road trip not so much. I like planes and so do my boys. We miss our AZ Rosenhan's already... we had the best time!

Alameda Fair {2011}

It isn't summer without a trip to the fair. Pretty sure Cameron would disagree with this statement but he's a good sport. Now I have another one pulling for the fair too because Weston loved every second. He called all the rides choo-choo trains and we literally had to pry his hands off of the lap bar each time. He kept saying "again, again, again."

Weston wanted the balloon to keep spinning faster and faster and he kept crashing into the center because he wouldn't let go of the spinner.

What's a trip to the fair without checking out all the really smelly animals!! Is it just me or do they smellier every year?

It Never Gets Old

We have sooooo many pictures of Weston and Holden laying together on the couch while Weston watches Mickey Mouse. Why is it that I think its so funny every time I do it? Apparently I'll do anything for a laugh at the end of the night.

Holden is starting to catch on to my ways and get annoyed. I definitely can't say the same for Weston... he doesn't even know Holden or I exist.

Water Day

Even though every day is kind of like summer for us... "summer" so far has been really fun. We've had lots of different groups where we do weekly play dates with so it always gives us something to look forward to. Some of our neighbors get together once a week and back when it actually felt like summer {Weston wore long sleeves and pants yesterday??} we had a water day. Water tables, otter pops, sprinklers, water balloons, and water guns.... the kids had a blast!

Weston seemed to take lots of his naps in his crib.... Holden seems to only take naps in his car seat or in the ergo. Poor second child!!

Some More Utah

Of course we had to hit up Thanksgiving Point again because that place is awesome. Weston was obsessed with feeding the animals corn. He wanted more and more corn and would literally feed them one piece at a time. It took a looonnnng time. Alan was a good sport and fed those animals one piece of corn at a time right along side Weston. Five handfuls later I think we were all ready for a nap.

He's ridden lots of ponies before but this time he did it all by himself. I was so proud of him and he loved it!

Alan is such a good uncle and Weston adores him.

We also got to visit with our old Cali friends, Matt and April, and their cute Elle. They spent a lot of time fighting over the doll stroller which was kind of funny to watch. In Weston's defense... it was a pretty cool double stroller.

Saying goodbye to Nana.... it was such fun Utah trip and we can't wait till next time!

Hot Dog Roast

One of the nights in Utah we bbq'd in the mountains with my family and Cameron's. We had so much fun and the cousins had a blast running around and getting filthy. I discovered I can't take a single good picture in hot dog and smore smoke so I had to trash most of my photos. Boo! Here's what I got....

but he was more excited about running around with the roaster and digging in the dirt with it.

The biggest form of entertainment was climbing on Caroline's stroller.

Mason, who is the sweetest little boy I know, loved playing with Weston.

He even made sure Weston was ok when he ate it in the dirt. I love Mason.

Holden was on his best behavior and snoozed it up most of the time.
