A couple of weekends ago we spent a beautiful Saturday in SF. Hello.... where did this rain come from??

We walked up/down the embarcadero, spent some time at Pier 39, rode the carousal, ate some mini donuts, celebrated the seals 21st anniversary with them, ate the best oranges ever at the farmers market, chased Weston around {and secretly wished for an ounce of his energy}, and then ate at our fav spot Gott's. Such a fun day....

Magnet Board

I bought the Ung Drill frame at Ikea.... not knowing what to do with it. Then I shattered the glass in it and I really didn't know what to do with it.

I wanted it to be a chalkboard but I can't deal with the dust so.... it evolved into a magnet board for Weston's playroom. I thought he would love it since he loves putting magnets up on my friends fridge. Let's just say he acts like he is being tortured when I try to help him do a little activity with magnets. Maybe I should have made his magnet board look like a fridge?

Danica's Wedding

I was so happy to see Danica get married and even happier to spend the entire day with my friends while at the wedding and reception. We all carpooled up the canyon and it was so fun. It was like we were in high school again but just in a nicer car :) My definition of good friends is picking up as if you went to lunch yesterday but you actually only see them once a year {boo!!}

Danica looked gorgeous {someone send me pics}, her and the hubs are darling together, the setting was AMAZING {up Alta canyon}, and I miss my friends!

is where we found ourselves last night. Staring at David Gray. Mesmerized. Yes, we still love him and this concert made us love him more {if that is even possible.} Seriously, third row will change your life.

Eating Snow

I had a girlfriend get married a couple of weeks ago so Weston and I flew to Utah. No major crisis's on the plane except that I for sure determined that a mom, an 8 month belly, and a 20 month old BARELY fit into a seat. Also, it is definitely not a good situation when the tray table is down. I know this how? Because Weston is apparently obsessed with tray tables and ours was either in the process of getting yanked down or smashed up the entire flight. I don't know who I felt more bad for.... me or the person sitting in front of us?

Weston loved seeing the "no, no, no" and he loved to eat it. At one point my dad brought him in a cup of snow and he ate the entire thing as if it was a snow cone. Oh to be a kid again....

Wingback: Before And After

Seems as if my re-decorating projects are taking triple the time they normally should take. It might have something to do with me laying on the couch all the time? Anyhow, just got back my wingback {found at a consignment store} from the upholsterer. I'm really happy with how it turned out. My favorite part of this experience was my upholstery guy asking me, "So, do you really like this fabric?" as I handed him 7 1/2 yards of fabric. Classic.

3 Day Weekends

are probably the greatest thing ever. I'm pretty sure the world would be a happier place if every week was a 4 day work week. Anyhow.... we went to Happy Hollow on Monday and that place is so fun. I'm super bummed because the worst pictures I've probably ever taken were taken when Weston was having the most fun. Soooooo frustrating!!

Weston loved everything... the animals, the rides {especially driving the cars and ringing the bell}, trying things he's too little to do, spending time with his dad, and scarfing down Pizza My Heart afterwards.

We met up with Natalie and Lucas last Friday in San Jose.... which was perfect timing since it is now raining like C-RAZY!! We let the boys wear themselves out at the children's museum and then we had a picnic on the lawn. Weston's new favorite thing to do is peel clementines and make everyone eat them but him {picky toddler eating stage is oh so fun}. Poor Lucas... I wonder how many clementines got shoved down his throat?

Beach House With The Girls

I spent the weekend at a beach house with some girlfriends. Heaven. Cameron had some male bonding with Weston. Not quite sure if he described his weekend as heaven but I'm sure it was pretty close.

We did what all girls do on a girls weekend... NOTHING!!!! And let's be honest, what's not to love about that?? Lot's of talking, walks on the beach, movies, reading, eating, pedicures, sleeping in, playing games etc. etc. My favorite was the doing nothing part.... loved every second.
