Date Nights

We've been trying to get babysitters a bit more these days.... sounds lame, like we've had to make an effort.... but it's true. It's been way fun and really good for us. We've been to a few concerts, the temple {thanks to a great babysitter we found}, movies, dinners, and on a few Target runs. Seriously, date nights are good for the soul.

Fountains of Wayne

We found ourselves at another concert last weekend... Fountains of Wayne. It's Cameron's fav band of all times. I seriously don't understand the obsession but I'm here to support.  I was surrounded by the strangest super fans and the people watching was definitely at its best. 

A Date

Cameron cooked up a little surprise for me for my birthday {back in August}. My mom flew out for a weekend and we spent the night at the Claremont in Berkeley. It was the perfect gift to get away and not worry about the boys {although I came home missing them so much}. We went to dinner, hot tubed, shopped, went to a movie, slept in, and just chilled. We love Berkeley and the Claremont is gorgeous!! 

We scored and got upgraded to the clock tower so we spent a lot of time on our private balcony. Room service for breakfast was a must and we had such a fun time just hanging out and enjoying the view. It was such a fun birthday surprise!! {and thanks to my mom for watching the kids!}

Ray

Seriously, Ray LaMontagne is so awesome. We saw him last night at the Greek Theatre and it was so fun. Let's talk about the Greek Theatre for a second.... it is by far the BEST concert venue! We discovered Ray last year when he opened for David Gray and now we love him. The only thing that would have made the night any better would have been David Gray.

3rd Row

is where we found ourselves last night. Staring at David Gray. Mesmerized. Yes, we still love him and this concert made us love him more {if that is even possible.} Seriously, third row will change your life.

Over Nighter

My mom came into town this past weekend so Cameron and I decided to go on a date in the city and spend the night. I might have started crying when we left, but we left... so that's the point.

Our hotel was in Union Square and any calorie we ate was erased by the giant hill up Powell. Let's just say we were panting every time we got to the top. We had the best time doing all the things we don't get to do on a regular basis.... plus I introduced Cameron to Papa Beard's cream puffs because he didn't believe me that they could be that good. Verdict: they really are that good. Thanks to my mom for babysitting!

Love Me Some David Gray

The hubs and I literally fell in love listening to David Gray so I think that is why we love him so much... and now we finally got to see him live...on the 8th row. So awesome.... even though I now know all the nasty places he sweats.

Love the Greek Theatre... it's probably the best place EVER to see concerts. We were bonding with a couple in front of us when somehow Cameron spotted Koli {from Biggest Loser}.

Koli is somewhere in here. Who is he dating you might ask? Well, I'm assuming it's Ashley {also from B.L} since I stalked them kissing. Me and my new friend dashed over to meet them and I gave them hugs like I was their bestie or something. So sad the pic didn't turn out because I have no proof that I hugged reality star celebrities who know Jillian. Seriously, this was big time....

Go Sharks!

Saturday night we went to the Sharks game with some of Cameron's employees from the Northern Region. We sat in a decked out suite and had such a fun time. I think I had extra fun because I was so excited to get out of the house for a night. Our babysitter put Weston to bed so it this was big time for us... and it went great. Phew!
