A Week To Remember

I'm tired, oh so tired. This week has done me in. Shopping, wrapping, neighbor gifts, Weston on a 2 week preschool break {what??}, 24 hour flu for me, 24 hour flu for Holden, ear infections for both boys, no sleep for anyone, me losing my mind, and Holden learning how to crawl {yay!} He's loving life moving all around and getting into everything. He found the gingerbread house the other day and got to snack on a rock hard gingerbread dog. Nothing like old gingerbread to celebrate freedom!!! {Post edit: the world is a mean place. Minutes after I posted this Weston puked up green smoothie, penicillin,  and popcorn all over my couch. There are no words.}

Cam's 29th

birthday was so fun. Friday night we got our first babysitter. We are definitely doing that more often... it was so fun to get out of the house. We went to Haps and then ditched the gourmet desserts for Coldstone. Loved it. No wonder people always tell you to keep dating once you have kids!

Saturday we took headed out early to go into the city. We made stops in Berkeley and Emeryville to hit up some of our favorite stores... and then ended up at Taylor's at the ferry building for lunch. The scene there is so fun and the weather was GORGEOUS!

Weston is so happy with himself. I'm trying to be happy for him too, but I'm too busy baby proofing and covering all my electrical outlets. How does he already know about those?

Three Things I Love....

1. Leaving my Costco bag of frozen chicken in my car for 24 hours. That smells really good.

2. When a random stranger at Safeway bends down to talk to Weston and says in her cute baby voice, "You should really tell your mom to cover up your legs, it's really cold in here" {hello, I'm standing right there}.
