Ellie's Baby Blessing

A couple of weekends ago we went to Arizona to see our niece, Eliza, get blessed. It was awesome to see Cameron's family, see our new niece, and eat Cafe Rio. 

Here she is... little Ellie. She was adorable and I was pretty much obsessed with holding her. 

We attempted a family photo after the blessing. That was entertaining trying to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time... but I love having this photo with Cam's whole family in it.

We stayed with Cameron's mom with Branden, Tiffany, and the kids. They live in Kentucky so it was so fun to spend time with them. Savannah and I had a little photo shoot so I could practice using my camera. 

Here are Cameron's high school buddies: Dave, Travis, and Alan. It is always enlightening to spend time with your husband and his high school friends.... the things you find out about your husband :) 

Meet Hugga

I'm a sucker for a sale. Just don't even tell me there is one because I will absolutely be there and I will absolutely find something I can't live without. Since I needed to celebrate the sex of my child, I went shopping. The Boy is going to love his new clothes.

Meet Hugga. She is my treasured doll from when I was a girl.

Some may say she is scary with her wild pink hair and blue eyes... but I love her. I even had Hugga Bunch roller skates and my school bag was covered in Hugga's.

Anyhow, since I can't pass her on to The Boy, she will be my model. I couldn't resist.

Hugga could have used the 0-3 month sizes... but I went ahead and jumped to the 6-12 month category since I'm sure The Boy will be HUGE. Who could say no to this little jacket??

All Because

Cameron wore the blue tie.

It's a boy.

I said to the ultrasound tech, "How do you really know?"

She says, "There's the bottom, there's the boy parts."

What was she looking at? It looked like a line to me.

I say, "But what if it was a girl, what would you see?"

She says, "3 lines, your baby has 1."

So there you go, my baby has one line and I'm getting used to the fact that there is one line and not three.

But baby boy Rosenhan is appearing healthy and that is all that really matters. Now what am I going to do with all those headbands I just bought??

X or Y

2:15 p.m. is a big deal today. It is when we will know if baby Rosenhan is an X or a Y Rosenhan. Please say it's a girl... because if it is a boy Cameron has naming rights... and he wants to name him Noel (like Coal but with a N) after the lead guitarist/songwriter for Oasis. Who names their baby after an Oasis guitarist?

Like I said, please say it is a girl.

Cameron's Second Job

He is going to be a hair dresser. First clients (besides himself)...

the missionaries. 

As he pulls out the cape (which he uses for himself and is shoved in our bathroom drawer) he says, "Sorry if you see some mold, it's been there since college." 

What??? Mold all over this nasty cape?? So sick... why do boys not care about these nasty things? Note to self... never touch the cape. 

Because Now I Know How To Upload My Photos

I got a new camera for Christmas and I didn't know how to download them... so I haven't posted pictures in forever.  Then Cameron plugged my camera into the computer (just like my old one) and what do you know... they downloaded. We call those BM's around here.... blonde moments. Anyhow, here's the rest of our 2008.

What I Learned During the 1st Trimester

It's very simple:

-I need to clean my bathroom floors more throughly.

-NOTHING cures the burn of throwing up Mexican food.

-NOTHING tastes good, smells good, or looks good.

-I cry when I throw up... every time.

-"Pregnancy Brain" is true. How did I manage to forget some of the things I forgot?

-15 weeks has never sounded better.

The Last Of Newport

On our way to Newport for Thanksgiving we stopped in L.A. to spend the weekend with Preston, Cam's brother. He works for the D.E.A. and was recently relocated to L.A. I think I would cry if I had to have his job, especially in L.A. He loves it and we had a great time hanging out, eating, seeing the area, etc. Preston even gave up his bed for us and I had to sleep next to his gun. Weird. 

We then headed to Newport to stay in the condo with my fam. Refer to this post for a description of the T.Q. My dad even brought the air pump to fill up all the air mattresses for everyone... hilarious. Everyone woke up in the morning all deflated. My only regret is not taking more pictures of the sleeping arrangements... oh the memories. 

But we had such a fun time seeing everyone, playing games, chatting, etc. etc. 

The fam after dinner the night Cam and I left (Brent and Ang already had flown home). Thanks mom and dad for such a fun vacation! 

Disneyland

I'm still finishing up my Thanksgiving posts.... what a slacker. When we were in Newport for Thanksgiving, Cameron's brother Damon (and fam) met up with us for a day in Disneyland. It was so fun to see them and spend the day with them.

Owen and I had lots of bonding time. I couldn't ride many of the rides and little shorty couldn't either... so we played dress up,

Had fights with guys (I had no clue who all these figurines were),

Saw Tigger (Owen is really excited about this),

And just hung out. Owen is adorable.

The Killers

Big suprise, I'm posting about another concert. We love The Killers though so it was a great show... until the crowd starting smoking illegal drugs. Yet another big surprise.

So I enjoyed the concert from the bathroom (as to not damage my growing fetus) and Cameron enjoyed the show alone. 

Lucky for me the Warfield has couches in their bathrooms. 

Cameron's Moves

Cameron has a Christmas party for his employees each year... they put tons of work into these little dance numbers and its a pretty wild party. I sit back and kind of chuckle as I watch them all dance... especially my husband. They picture quality is poor but check out Cam's moves. I was just hoping he didn't pull a muscle.
