Valentines Day {2012}

The day of love went a little something like this.... 

{balloons, presents, valentines, and chocolates} 

{breakfast of mini puffed pancakes with syrup and strawberry milk} 

{trains from nana and fishing poles and fish from me and Cameron}

{a Sushi date with my valentine}

{and a valentine bundt}

Valentines Day Stuff

These days I find myself only doing laundry and vacuuming my floor. Sigh. But the holidays always give me a good excuse to stop vacuuming and do something fun. This garland was super easy and I got to knock out 2 hours on my dvr which is always a bonus. {Next up is painting my walls white and seeing this picture just confirms that this is a REALLY good idea}.

Trip To Utah

Way back when {in February} Weston and I went to Utah to see my fam. Origionally I was going to help my mom out with her recovery from her hip replacement surgery... but apparently she is super woman and recovered all on her own in record time. The doctor said she should be the poster child for how to recover from hip replacement surgery. Go mom!

Anyhow, Weston and I had a good time just hanging out and seeing everyone. I broke out the camera the last day when Weston hadn't slept for about 5 nights and was getting sick. Seems to be a trend when I go on vacation.... sweet.

Cameron made husband of the year by sending me valentine day flowers. I wish I could have gate checked them along with my stroller.

And perfect timing to be there for my mom's birthday. I literaly can't remember the last time I was around family for a real birthday, thiers or mine. It was really fun. Why is the cake so flat you ask? A certain sister left out the baking soda... but we love her anyway.

We did my mom a favor and put on the "mom" candle instead of set of smoke alarm with a ba-jillion little candles. Love you mom!!

Yarn Wreath

I've been eyeing this yarn wreath for several months now. I decided to take a twist on it and make a new Valentine's wreath for my front door. Tutorial here.

Felt Heart Wreath

When we go to AZ the SIL's always say, "Let's craft!!!" And then somehow we only shop and eat and never craft. But this time... it happened. It might have been a miracle.

Shannon (my SIL and I have the same exact name) and I loved how our felt heart wreaths turned out. The most difficult part about this wreath was finding the heart forms... I think we bought the last 2 in the entire state of Arizona. Tutorial found here.
