Nicki's Shower

My good friend Nicki is having a baby boy in August {yeah for boys} so Brooke and I threw her a shower last week. We did the whole shower in red, cyan, and umbrellas... it turned out great and we had fun trying to coordinate all the details.

For refreshments we served red velvet cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, angel food cake with strawberries, watermelon, and sparkling pomegranate and blueberry juice. {Ignore the BAD coloring on some of these photos.}

I took some maternity shots of Nicki before the shower and we displayed them on the mantle with the cute Hudson banner. 

And of course we needed some red treats to snack on while the presents were opened. 

For favors we packed up red take out boxes filled with yummy parisan macaroons.

Cameron's Dream Come True

The cute employees at Cameron's building gave us a baby shower. I know how much he has been wanting to attend one of these "showers" so it made his day I'm sure! At least now he knows what goes on at these things... a bunch of chatting, eating, oooing and aaahing.

The rehab nurses made sure that The Boy will hit all his developmental milestones.

Ward Shower

Some cute ladies in the ward hosted a beautiful shower for me and The Boy last weekend. We have met so many great friends in the Livermore ward and I was so appreciative!

The spread was amazing... 

And the cakes were delicious! 

We tried to see whose baby would crown first. Reasonable people shook their cups 

while others tried to burn their babies.

I received so many fun gifts and The Boy is getting spoiled. 

It's baby season... these 2 girls are about 2 months behind me. So fun.  

Birdie Baby Shower

Last Saturday was my The Boy's big shower... kind of ironic the theme was all around birds! :) 

It was absolutely beautiful and I loved every second of it! The decorations were adorable, the food was amazing, and it was so fun to be surrounded by great friends! You can read more about the details on Brooke's blog.

This little bird cage held the wishes the everyone had for me and Cameron... it was so fun  to read them! I'm saving them forever. 

We had a fun little raffle where you could win cute birdie prizes. 

Check out the diaper cake Carolyn made.  I unrolled those little diapers and I can't believe how tiny they are. How can those little bums be so tiny?? 

The crepe bar was delicious and there were so many toppings to choose from. 

And words don't describe the cupcakes... they were adorable and delicious! 

Whit and Brooke

The Boy and I were certainly spoiled. Thank you for all the amazing gifts! 

Trying on the new backpack for size... I'm so hiking off this baby weight.

Creativity

Sometimes at I wish I was more creative. 

Then I remember I don't have to be, because I have a Brooke. 

You will not believe the birdie shower invitations she designed for my upcoming shower... they are adorable and the cutest things I have ever seen.
